Mash it Up!
Saturday 20th October 2007
The finest in upbeat, danceable reggae and
straight-up funky-assed funk from the old school
**This time with added Afro-beat and Afro-funk.**

Lark in the Park, 60 Copenhagen Street, London N1.
8.30pm until 2am - Drinks at pub prices. Smoking Garden.

Dear all

Mash it Up! is back for just one last time this whole year.

As ever, we'll give at least ten per cent of any money we make to the legendary Alpha Boys School in memory of Don Drummond, Tommy McCook and Alpha's other great, musical graduates.

As ever, myself and DJ Evel Ken will be serving up delicious reggae, ska and funk for your musical main course.

And for added spice, we will be mixing in the Juju, Dub and Afro-funk flavours of the Reverand Bedward himself. Click this link to hear:

NB - Mash it Up! is an advance booking only event for the good people on my mailing list.
And all you need to do to get yourself on the list is ask - Email: baldheadselector@mashitup.org.uk

I think that's it for now - if you have any questions at all - please get in touch:

If you'd like be a (virtual) friend to myself and/or to the Alpha Boys School then please feel free Smile

Mash it Up! is looming large on the calendar and looking lovely.

Just 3 weeks to go. So if you'd like to come (and I hope you will) then now is a good time to book your place.

At least a tenth of all profits go to the Alpha Boys School in Kingston, JA in tribute to Don Drummond and Alpha’s other great musical graduates

As ever, myself and DJ Evel Ken will be serving up delicious reggae, ska and funk for your musical main course. And once again, I'm delighted to announce that we have managed to secure the services of the very reverend Bedward of Matsuli Music fame - with his dynamite sounds of Juju dub and Afro-funk

SNEAKY PREVIEW:

I've just got each of the 'Mash it Up!' selectors to kindly reveal two of their selections - though it's three from me - (promoters perks!)
- and they're on my MySpace profile - for your listening pleasure - as The 'Mash it Up!' jukebox at:

http://www.myspace.com/baldheadselector

I hope you like 'em.

Respect

Baldy
