Trojan is offering up some downloadable purchases now, available through Itunes and some other venues. It will be nice to be able to pick and choose downloadable songs from some of these Trojan releases, they are notorious for overlap on alot of their pressings, so I can now start to bridge the gap between my vinyl and some of these outtakes and B-sides that will start becoming available.
Cheers to Trojan and Sanctuary, you are headed in the right direction.
Official music download web site Tunetribe.com is celebrating Trojan Records with an in depth feature and a whole host of music downloads from the label.

The site’s Reggae/World section is currently headed by the Trojan feature, which sees writer Steve Yates telling the ‘Real Trojan Story’.

The article is complemented by several classic Trojan albums by the likes of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, Horace Andy and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Also included is the recently released compilation ‘Young, Gifted & Black: The Downloads’.

As with other music download applications, the consumer is given the choice to purchase the full album or individual tracks.

Check out the full feature here.
